A UST projector sends light upward at a steep angle. The concentric Fresnel structure redirects that projector light toward the seating area while reducing some ambient light arriving from overhead and the sides.
This selectivity is why the screen has a correct orientation—and why room planning still matters.

Installation
A large fixed-frame screen rewards careful measuring. Confirm wall width, viewing height, furniture clearance and projector geometry before you open the optical surface.
Questions, answered
A Fresnel screen is directional and designed around the steep upward light path of a UST projector. It is not the default choice for a conventional long-throw projector mounted across the room.
It is designed to reduce the effect of ambient light arriving from less useful directions, but no passive screen makes room light disappear. Direct light on the screen, projector output, wall colour and installation all affect the result.
The optical structure is directional. Installed upside down, it can redirect light away from the intended viewing area. Always identify the marked top edge before mounting.
The screen is intended for 4K ultra-short-throw laser projectors. Model-specific compatibility will only be published where it has been verified; confirm your projector’s throw geometry and image size requirements before ordering.
